International Students Went to Shanxi for Cultural Experience Activities

To enable students to learn more about China and Chinese culture, the SICE from April 28 to 30, 2007, has organized some students to visit the Yungang Grottoes in Shanxi Province, Monastery XuanKong, Yingxian Wooden Tower and Mount Wutai. With great originality, spectacular grotto art, located on fifty meters high cliffs of the temple, the Wood Pagoda was built long time ago. Surrounded by mountains, the scenery kiwi, temples, Wutai scenic spot, unique Chinese Buddhist culture and magnificent constructions have deeply amazed the students. The students have said that such a cultural experience helped them to understand China, ans it is a great opportunity to learn the Chinese language. They hope that the SICE will continue to organize these kinds of meaningful activities.
