International Scholarship Students Trip to Shanxi to Experience Chinese Culture
During the Tomb-sweeping Day, SICE took Chinese Government Scholarship Students to Shanxi Province to experience Chinese culture. The students visited Jin Memorial Temple built in 1023, the Ancient City of Ping Yao that has a history of 2700 years, the Ancient City Wall, the Xie Tong Qing Bank Museum, the Ancient County Government, the Founder of the Chinese banking Industry - Rishengchang site which was built in Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty. It represents a unique style of the China's northern residence during the Qing Dynasty. The students were all amazed by the ancient Chinese architecture and culture and marvel, and they think that this will be a very memorable cultural experience.
